ROOTED IN TRUTH. BUILT FOR THE FUTURE.

A transatlantic sound carrying the grit of the cipher, the bassline of the dancehall, and the weight of history.

The full story

THE FUNK. THE DOC. THE METHOD.

Funk-Doc-Meth is a meeting point: raw East Coast cadence and the warmth of Afro-Reggae, hard drums and open minds, street testimony and classroom discovery.

His bars celebrate Black invention, resistance, spirit, and excellence across Africa and the global diaspora. Every record is designed to carry both impact and information—to make the head nod, then make the listener ask one more question.

Based in Alberta, Canada, his work is also shaped by architecture and cultural exchange. As one of the architects who worked on Lagos’s New Afrika Shrine, run by Femi Kuti, he carries a direct connection to a living centre of Afrobeat history.

That connection found a new voice after he met Jamie and Glowie of New Orleans duo The Standard Bearers at a 2023 poetry event in New York. Their shared writing and research into Black excellence linked New Orleans jazz and trumpet traditions with Fela’s music, leading to several collaborations. “Others Like Us,” released on 12 September 2026, is the first of those records to reach listeners.

At the center is the youth. The mission reaches beyond performance into education, cultural confidence, and a belief that knowing where you come from changes how high you aim.
