BIO

Funk Doc Meth makes heavy 90s East Coast boom-bap laced with Afro-Reggae warmth and conscious storytelling. His music traces a line from Southern Kaduna to the Alberta freeze, carrying the diaspora's stories of migration, faith, labour, humour and Black excellence.

His 2026 album Strange Country is fifteen chapters of that journey — from the warehouse night shift of "Same Shirt Same Grind" to the roll call of "Others Like Us", recorded with The Standard Bearers and rooted in New Orleans jazz and Lagos Afrobeat.
